Most everyone loves this non-typical blend! They combine a zoo, botanical garden, natural history museum, aviary and so much more! We always love a visit here, and highly recommend it.

If you want to dig deep into Tucson's heritage, you'll find high-level journeys into historical topics.
Located on the University of Arizona campus.
You'd find authentic collections of Native American ancient culture, anthropology & southwestern history. And much more. Since 1865 it's been gathering its collections.
But right now, sadly, it's closed.
Its building became unsafe for visitors. Needed repairs are way overdue. Administrators say it will cost $5o million to update the facility's structure!
As it's hosted and administered by the University, the funds are held up until the school overcomes its financial problems. Who knows when that could be!
A bit different, as the focus is specifically on the cultures of the Southwestern U.S.
It opened to display the museum founder's collections. But has expanded beyond that.
Located on the East side, at 7000 E. Tanque Verde Rd.
On 10 acres in a National Historic District. Scenic views from this Catalina Mountains foothills location.
Since 1950 this museum in Tucson Arizona has been celebrating Ettore "Ted" DeGrazia. His life, lifestyle and his artwork. Allow between 1-2 hours for your visit.
