El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort

This Tucson Hilton Resort was tried by us for our wedding anniversary. For your El Conquistador Review info, we liked some things, not others.

Our room was standard, 4th floor with a balcony view of the Santa Catalina Mountains.

El Conquistador resort property in Tucson ArizonaProperty view from outside our room - pool in view.

FOR US THE POSITIVES:

  • Easy parking nearby your room. And we had a balcony, which we always love.
  • The Colibri Lounge was fun for relaxing with views & drinks. Plus lunchtime & dinner options.
  • The main pool (4-more, too) with waterslides for kids' fun. And for adults - a friendly poolside bar.
Outdoor Bar at a resort in Tucson ArizonaWe enjoyed a few afternoons here, poolside.

FOR US THE NEGATIVES:

  • The elevator on our side of the building only reached the 3rd floor.
  • We didn't even try the Epazote Kitchen, which was a bit pricey for our budget, even for our anniversary!
  • I was thinking of trying a spa massage, but had to drive about 1/2 mile to another section. So I didn't bother.
  • Despite getting a deal on our room, our bill total came to a bit over $1000 for 3 nights. 😮 We didn't feel the experience was worth that amount!

But others have their own way choosing vacation resorts in Tucson Arizona.

So you may enjoy the world-class golfing, tennis courts, and hiking trails. And with kids, and careful meal choices, families can have a great vacation here.
