The Seasonal Dancing Scene in Tucson

Keep in mind that Tucson's club scene varies with the seasons.

Spring and fall offer ideal weather for venues with outdoor patios and rooftop dancing areas.

Our desert climate means summer nighttime temperatures can be warm, usually pleasantly so. The temperature usually plummets as the sun sets.

  • We always dress  accordingly, using layers. Getting there in shirtsleeves, but having a light jacket or sweater.
  • To avoid dehydration that can occur with your dancing the night away - stay hydrated throughout the night.
  • Summer can be quieter but often features special events and outdoor dance parties.

In winter months, snowbirds and University of Arizona students are in town. It's overall busier at that time of year in most Tucson dance clubs. College-themed dance club nights tend to draw crowds on Thursdays.
